Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
Salary: - upto Ј40,000
Based: London
Length: perm
Working for a large successful facilities company on site at one of their London clients locations.
The prime purpose of this position is to ensure that health & safety and environment arrangements remain an important and integral part of the clients pro-active business culture relating to premises compliance and the services provided. The position is advisory but will require excellent inter-personal, oral and written skills. Must be able to plan and develop strategic solutions.
Design and implement risk control techniques
Promote and develop continues development of a positive health and safety awareness culture
Monitor and measure compliance with legal standards and establish effective follow up procedures to ensure any weaknesses are quickly and properly addressed.
Prepare and present material on existing and future legal H&S standards. Arrange periodic meeting with clients H&S manager to develop relationship with the team
Must have 5 years H&S and environmental experience in a similar role.
Should hold a NEBOSH diploma or equivalent supported by an appropriate science or technical degree.
